About Maureen
Born and raised On Vancouver Island, Maureen's photography has been published in photography books, magazines and brochures internationally and was twice voted one of the top photographers by Pique Newsmagazine.
She began her career in the mid-1980’s in Whistler and has been creating photographic images ever since. Her explorations throughout BC & beyond have led to a diverse image library.
Her work has been published with B.C. Children’s Hospital, BC Transit, Bombardier, Intrawest Development Corporation: Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain Resorts, Gong and Mustang Clothing.
She was a founding board member of the Whistler Photographic Society.
Her artwork is displayed in private residences around the world of a really wide variety of wonderful people who live in or have traveled to BC for family gatherings, weddings and vacations. It has been her great pleasure to work with all these people and capture the special moments in their lives as their two worlds have crossed through photography.
